CVE-2016-2775 IBM AIX BIND Denial of Service Vulnerability (bind_advisory13)

AIX is prone to the following vulnerabilities:

ISC BIND is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an assertion failure in buffer.c while a nameserver is building responses to a specifically constructed request.(CVE-2016-2776)
ISC BIND is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an error when lwresd or the named lwres option is enabled.(CVE-2016-2775)
Affected Platforms: AIX 5.3, AIX 6.1, AIX 7.1, AIX 7.2

Exploitation could result in a denial of service condition.
