Apache Web Server is a freely available, open-source, software package developed and actively maintained by the Apache Software Foundation. The Apache Web Server is a robust, highly configurable, scalable Web server with high deployment and popularity.
In various versions of Apache Web Server, it's possible for remote users to cause denial of service conditions. An HTTP request consisting of unusual amounts of data could cause various effects on the host.
漏洞危害
Some reported effects involve the administrator receiving an error message and an idle user connection until the server is restarted by the administrator. The target host could also consume all available memory, resulting in the server crashing.
As a result, the administrator must restart the server in order to gain normal functionality.
解决方案
Apache Group addressed this issue in Apache Web Server Version 1.3.20. This version is available for download from the following site:
