IBM HTTP Server is a Web server powered by Apache. The Windows NT version is subject to the following denial of service vulnerability:
Issuing an unusually long GET request comprised of approximately 219 characters will cause the server to stop responding and publish an error message. A restart of the application is required in order to regain normal functionality.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to the execution of arbitrary commands. (Note: This has not yet been verified.)

Upgrade to IBM HTTP Server Version 1.3.12 or later, which is available for download from the IBM HTTP Server Download Page.
